Below is some of our most commonly asked questions with some answers. If your unsure please feel free to contact us at any point.
What do I need to bring or Wear?
Paintball is a fast paced sport. Come prepared for your event with sturdy footwear and suitable clothing that covers both arms and legs. It is also advised to bring water bottles. Overalls are available at no extra cost on any full priced package.
How Many People do I need?
To make a group booking on one of our permanent field it requires a minimum of 10 people. You can book for less people we just can not promise your group will be alone on the field. The fields can cope with upto 40 players at anyone time though.
For the mobile arena just come along no matter what your group size we can fit you in or join you onto other group games.
How long will I play for?
On average most players purchase the $55 hardcore pack. The less you spend - the faster you run out of ammo - the less time you play for.
Small to medium size groups can expect to play for up to 2hours.
Medium to Large Groups can expect to play for up to 3hours.
How do I pay? Do you have eftpos and will i need to pay a deposit?
Payment on the day is cash or cheque only. No eftpos on site.
We can charge players separately based on your instructions, however the game organizer is responsible for full payment, and must make up any shortfall.
A deposit of $100 is required to confirm a booking this will be deducted off each pack price on the day. This deposit can be paid by cheque or by internet banking. You can enter all you booking details by clicking Book Online.
Is there an age limit?
We can take players from age 12 and up. Players under the age of 16 must have a signed permission slip from there parents/ guardian or have a parent or adult playing in the group.
Is there parking provided?
Parking is provided on site at the Dairy flat field. Please ensure you lock your vehicles and shut gates behind you. Chaos Paintball Ltd take no responsibility for damaged or stolen property.
How many paintballs will I use for the game?
Every player is different and every mission is different. You can use as little as 150, It is up to you and your bank balance.
Typical usage is 300 - 500 paintballs per person, depends how busy your trigger finger is.
Does it Hurt?
Paintballs are designed to break on impact. The will sting a little bit and may leave marks for example a welt or bruise. This can be helped by wearing overalls or extra layers or body armour.
Can I use my own Paintball Marker (gun) and mask?
Yes you are more that welcome to bring your own marker provided that it is well maintained and in good order.
All markers must be speed tested before you play. Maximum 290 FPS. Preferred 280 FPS.
Can I use my own Paintballs?
Simple answer no. The reason behind this is that Chaos Paintball is a field paint only site and that we assure the quality of our paintballs from our supplier. You are more than welcome to buy quality paintballs direct from us in bulk.
The only exception for this is for Paintball Clubs who rent our field out for club events. If you are interested in this feel free to contact us.
Can I get a discount for bringing a larger group?
Chaos paintball prides itself on being very competetivly priced. We can't offer you deals for every group but check out our current specials or grab a deal when were next on Cudo.co.nz
